Description
Moana, in Kiwi “body of water”, where better to be than right next to the Barwon River. A beach getaway down on the Bellarine Peninsula awaits. This 2 bedrooms home has all the added inclusions to make your stay stress free. You will also love being only a 500m walk to the best cafés in town, 500m from Barwon River Beach and 400m to the local RSL Bowling Club for a game/meal.
Moana is well appointed with all the essential amenities including WIFI, Smart TV in living room and TV in main bedroom. There is also spilt system heating/cooling in living area.
Internally the property consists of 2 bedrooms, Master with Queen bed ,2nd bedroom with Trio bunk (double on base, single on top) .The property ideally sleeping 5-guests.
The main bathroom features shower with toilet and adjoining vanity and change room with washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, plates, pans, cutlery, cups etc and features a dishwasher, oven, electric hotplates, microwave, bar fridge, coffee pod machine and stone bench tops. The island bench has seating for 4 guests.
The undercover veranda has a convertible lounge setting, and you can choose to either have café blinds up or down with a BBQ. There is also a shady area under the picnic table.
Surf beach is an easy 500m walk around the corner. Enjoy lovely morning river walks along the Barwon.
Situated a few minutes’ walk to the beach, river, golf clubs, bowling club and coffee shops. 4 minutes’ drive to Barwon Heads, 15–20-minute drive to Geelong, Torquay, Pt. Lonsdale, Queenscliff, Portarlington, Indented Head, St. Leonards, Geelong Adventure Park, Wineries, Red Brick Cider House, Bellarine Brewery, and Olive Groves.

The property is situated in Old Ocean Grove just down from of the main shopping strip on The Terrace. The main shopping centre nearby includes a Coles, Hardware, servo, variety stores and local fish chip & pizza stores.
A car is recommended to explore the greater Bellarine area however you are within a 10-15 min walk to all essential amenities.View More
Amenities
A very compact but clean and uncluttered unit in a handy location. Beds were comfy. Shower was good (rose head) but hot water ran out after one shower (not a long one) meaning a wait for the next person. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
PS. We didn’t bring our dog but noted yard was secure. We had an amazing time in Ocean Grove. This unit was perfect for our little boy as well as our dog. Kitchen had everything and loved the kid friendly setup (but also wound be perfect for a coastal getaway kid-free). Perfect beach a short walk away, along the river. We loved our stay at Debbie's place. It was comfortable with all the amenities we needed. A lovely outside secured courtyard to enjoy a drink and let the dogs play. Very convenient location to the waterfront for boating, biking and walking. We would definitely love to come back some time. S

Great place for us to use as a base
The property was well presented and clean. A pleasant cabin with all the ammenties we required. The bathroom was small but functional.
We were using it as a base while we started our own propery renovation so did not spend much time there or make use of the outdoor courtyard
The bed was very comfortable.
The cabin is on a major road and we did notice some traffic noise in the early mornings and evenings
It was great to see it was dog friendly.
Communication from the owners was great and made for an easy arrival and departure.
