This was a time when my expectations were truly exceeded.  I know Bendigo well and always wanted to stay at this winery .  Its changed hands and boy have they certainly improved it.  Our room opened to green sprawling grass and the view of the vines and clamping tents were sensational.  We had a glass of wine on arrival in the restaurant and sat under the vine covered verandah, fairy lights twinkling, fit pit glowing in the distance.  We could have been back in France.  I lived in the Maiden Gully area for 15 years and truly appreciate it's rural tranquility with the benefit of being only 15 mins from the CBD.   The communications from the group was excellent, providing all the info to enter the property. We printed this out so it was easy to enter the security numbers into door entrances instead of holding the phone.  What a destination to rent out the whole place for a family event.  We will be back, it's now our "Bendigo home"

A Gem in Geelong. When my friend and I were looking for somewhere to stay, we focused on the map and concentrated on properties that were in our preferred area. We certainly weren’t on a gem hunt, but somehow we found the most beautiful, spacious apartment in a heritage building, with a free car park just next door. We entered through beautiful copper doors and then experienced a wonderful 1920’s style elevator that took us up to our apartment and were amazed at the size of it, because the photos just don’t do it justice. Everything was perfect, and in closing I just have to mention the beds. I’ve never really thought about the idea of hibernating somewhere for a holiday, but after sleeping in one of the beds on the first night, this might just be something that I might add to my bucket list….. especially during a cold, wet winter. And I can honestly say that the only place that I would consider it an option would be at the Grecian Pillar Apartments. We will be back. Just perfect.

Second stay through Regional Escapes. Enjoying very much. Special mention to Tanayah and Michelle who are both very kind, professional and courteous. Helped me understand that you can stay here a maximum of 60 days before securing a new block to continue staying if neccessary. Three bedroom house. Location ideal (knew that from being a local 🙂) and premises clean and tidy with modern ammenities, large fridge and frezer, plenty of pantry space, dryer and washer all for a very fair price. Situated right on the Barwon River and 24 Bus right on the corner straight into town. Very happy stay. 5/5. 🙂

Beautiful accomodation. Suite was very clean, bed was comfortable, rooms were lovely. We had a 2 bedroom suite with shared, interconnected bathroom. Excellent kitchen area and such a big and beautiful shared lounge area. Host was so accommodating, helpful and flexible and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.

Apartment was very clean and new, it is part of an overall number of apartments within the building, and you share the downstairs area with the other apartments. You have your own kitchen and toilet. Location was good for Belmont, but need a car to get around, I was in the area to drive the Great Ocean Road, if I did not have a vehicle, getting around would have needed a taxi. Overall very good experience, Clarisse was quick to respond to my messages and was very helpful.

Fantastic home with an incredible vista to gaze out toward. Aireys Lighthouse and the ocean in full view.

The home is nestled in a beautiful pocket of Fairhaven with an abundance of nearby walks and close to Onda cafe.

We stayed with 7 of us and we all fit around the couch each night. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for larger groups for when we cooked.

We will definitely be back!

Really awesome home, the views from the deck was spectacular and it really took us by surprise. The rooms were really well decorated and we loved the addition of table tennis and a stocked shelf full of board games. 

I really wished they had included bath mats, towels, tea towels and linen, as most airbnb listings usually include it.

All in all, it was a great place to spend the weekend and would highly recommend this lovely home

Great house, great view. You are asked to clean it yourself (dishes, rubbish out, vacuum and sweep) when leaving which is unusual these days so factor this in to your plans.

Thank you for a relaxing stay at Fairhaven. The house is comfy and has great size bedrooms downstairs. Very good views of the lighthouse. We loved the table tennis too.  The nearby Onda Food House was a treat - awesome coffee and delicious breakfast menu.
As a general note for Great Ocean Retreats, we would have preferred the beds free of any linen (no doona covers or pillow cases) instead of having to strip the existing doona covers and pillow cases before putting our fresh sheets on.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. Spacious rooms and kitchen, great deck and lounge areas, plus a sweet leafy outdoor space with table out the back. Everything you need and a fantastic view of the beach from the deck!! Would absolutely recommend a stay here – I'm sure we'll be back!

The house was exactly as pictured, we loved our stay. The little touches throughout the house were thoughtful. The house was very clean and cosy, the kitchen very well equipped, and the wood heater was brilliant. There are two separate living areas, and two outdoor settings, lots of room for my family. The backyard was well fenced and secure for our dog, she loved the doggy door!

A fantastic house for two families to share.  Two bedrooms, family room and bathroom on bottom level for one family.  Two bedrooms, bathroom and toilet on second level for the other family.  Kitchen, dining living upstairs for everyone to share.  Newly renovated, well equipped kitchen, great log fire and views over the lighthouse.  Easy walk into town and the beach.  Would love to come back in summer and put the BBQ, outdoor shower and balcony to use.  Highly recommend.
