COME THROUGH THE HOME
With free parking for guests in the double garage or free on-street parking.
You enter into the shared home with the main bedroom to the right, which includes a double bed, desk, Smart TV, AC, walk-in robe and ensuite. Following the hallway straight the home opens into the common living, dining and kitchen area.
The Kitchen is well-equipped with all the appliances, crockery and utensils you need. The High-quality appliances include a fridge, dishwasher oven, gas stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich press and rice cooker.
The dining room hosts a four-seater dining table, and in the lounge sits a few couches looking onto the Smart TV and kept comfortable by the large Split System Air-conditioner.
Through the glass doors is the courtyard where you can soak up the sun on the five-seater outdoor dining set, enjoying a morning coffee with the friends you make in the shared accommodation.
Continuing through the hallway off the dining room, are the two other bedrooms and main bathroom shared between them.
The bedrooms include a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, new Smart TVs, AC, and built-in robes. Bedroom two also includes a built-in desk and walk-in robe.
The main bathroom includes a shower, bath, toilet and vanity.
At the end of the hall is the Laundry with a trough and top-loader washing machine. Which leads out to the side yard with a clothesline and a quiet sitting space for two. There is also a dryer for use in the garage.

The home is located on Sugargum Drive, in Waurn Ponds, conveniently located for any traveller with a main train station and bus station just a few minute’s walk away.
Waurn Ponds Trian Station is just 300 metres down the road, where you can catch V-line trains to Melbourne and Warrnambool. Bus stop at Oakwood Cres/Sugargum Dr just 100 metres away where you can catch Routes 41, 42 & 45, which you can use to travel around the local area. Such as stopping into Deakin’s Waurn Ponds Campus and Epworth Hospital just down the hill.
Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre is located only a 6 -minute drive or 16-minute bus ride away, which features Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target, many clothes retailers, cinemas, eateries and more! And on the way there are more retailers such as JB Hi -Fi & Bunnings.

It's a great place for a good price. Close to the train station, Deakin Uni and the shopping centre. Friendly host. Has the amenities in case you want to cook. Affordable. Clean. Had the basics of what I needed. Handy location for catching bus to Deakin Uni and shops. Close to Waurn Ponds train station. Only criticism was that the iron wasn't working. Hopefully the iron will be working before I next stay there again. Zachary

The house is really nice with well equipped kitchen, A/C throughout, up-to-date appliances and TV’s throughout.
It really feels like a large home being spacious including plenty of patio space outside to sit in and garage too.
It has 3 guest rooms in total and only 1 other couple were there during my stay so the privacy was immaculate.
The only downfall is the location being about 10km’s away from the city centre. There is a supermarkets/ fast food chains shops closer than this (2.5km) and also a train station very close to the house, if you are happy to take the travel in or have a car I would highly recommend.
I found that this has been my best value for money AirBnB and the communication from the host was great. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again if visiting Geelong for a couple of days.
