We had such a lovely weekend away at this beautiful old home that had been done up into a very luxury style home away from home. We loved the rustic touches around the suites and we felt so comfortable, safe and cosy. The location was perfect and allowed us to easy explore Geelong and enjoy a day at Torquay. Grateful for this home away from home. This is a great value stay per night for accommodation that feels like your own bedroom instead of a hotel. A generously sized room with thoughtful decor, a very modern look and feel and located in a safe neighbourhood with easy access to the main highway for sightseeing. Wonderful restaurants and supermarket nearby. I loved having the courtyard area to sit and get fresh air. Thank you again for giving me a safe place to call home for a while.

Perfect place to stay, every time I book your room, I almost never disappoint, and this time is no different. But I am a little afraid of the cold, the temperature drops at night, the quilt is a little thin, if there is a spare cup to spare it would be better. Just perfect and attention to detail. Decore was so lovely. Such a secure yard for our dogs. A perfect set up for families with pets. And a short walk to the dog beach. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

I liked the room and the complex, it had everything I needed and lots of space, its nice to have a fridge in your room along with a large fridge downstairs, just in case.
The cooking facilities were great, love gas cooking.

Getting into the house was super easy thanks to the instructions. 
The house itself was very clean, there were plenty of cooking implements to use while there (pots, pans, trays for the oven). The shower was lovely! The beds were comfy and the heating/cooling worked well. 
There is also a lovely pie shop/cafe right around the corner! 

The not so much good things, it’s right opposite a primary school so can get a bit busy/noisy in the mornings and afternoons. 
‘Next door’ are in the process of building a house, of which one of the windows can see into the toilet room so that will need addressing fairly soon. Part of the fence has been removed/fallen over so there is a metal construction type fence there (this might be a privacy issue). 
There are 3 gates surrounding the back garden, one of which I couldn’t get to lock fully and kept opening so this could be a security/safety issue if someone has a dog.

So much to love about this air bnb. Communications with hosts were a breeze. The unit is positioned in a quiet spot but close to the beach, shops and cafes.  The position is very handy for visiting other areas on the coast. Other residents on the site were quiet and respectful.

A perfect and affordable beach holiday home situated a 10 minute walk to main street of Ocean Grove. Comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. All linen and towels provided.

Eggleston Beach House has 3 well appointed bedrooms, the main with a Queen sized bed, bedrooms 2 with Queen and single and 3 with Double and singles making this an ideal holiday home for up to eight people. Polished floorboards add a nice touch of modern style.

For your comfort there is split system heating and air conditioning. It comes complete with flat screen TV, video, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher BBQ and outdoor furniture for those balmy nights of summer.

You will have access to the entire house and yard.

Booking was cancelled 1 hour before check in
The agent managing this property cancelled this booking ONE HOUR before our check in. She said that the owner had decided to stay. How can the owner decide to stay one hour before our arrival?? The agent refused to take my calls and only would text me. I was offered a sub par accommodation as a replacement. Our whole holiday was ruined, not to mention all of the shopping and the driving we had done prior to our arrival. Do not stay through this host or at this property, it might even happen to you.

The house was clean & tidy. It was the perfect space for a family. The bathroom was spacious & the separate toilet was very convenient. There was plenty of room outside in the cottage style garden however as our kids wanted to play cricket one open space would have been more suitable. We had a fantastic weekend in Ocean Grove at Debbie’s place. The property was as listed and the just very helpful. The house is in a very peaceful neighbourhood and a short walk to shops and the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in modest but very comfortable accommodation

Beautiful house in Ocean Grove. 5 minutes drive to local restaurants/Aldi/McDonald's/Petrol Station; 10 minutes drive to Barwon Heads beach; 15 minutes drive to Queescliff/Port Lonsdale. Plenty of things to do. Very clean and well maintained house. Three bedrooms and two of them have a double and a single bed. Spot on for our big family. Internet is a bit slow but depends on your phone service company. Don't think there's Wifi. TV only has TV programs but with all the activities to do in the area who needs a TV. Host is very professional and friendly.

A couple minutes drive to the main street and beach and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including nice outdoor area and BBQ. 
Worth noting no Wi-Fi or Netflix etc so good to bring chromecast or HDMI cable if wanting to stream movies. 
Great communication, easy check in, and would definitely stay again!
