The Space:

The home is laid out over two levels, with five bedrooms throughout, two and a half bathrooms and an array of indoor and outdoor entertainment areas over two levels which include a commercial-sized pizza oven and a spacious upper-level deck with spectacular views over native gardens in St Anne’s Reserve and the Dunes beyond.

St Annes Beach Retreat is in the Surf Coast town of Torquay. It is a 10-minute drive from Geelong and roughly an hour and a half from Melbourne. The home itself is situated in a quiet street and only 50 metres from The Sands Golf Course and a short 200-metre walk through the reserve and dunes, also known as ‘The Gap’, for easy access to Whites Beach. This quintessential luxury beach home is perfectly located for your family vacation. A five-minute drive will take you to the main strip of The Esplanade where there are many restaurants and cafes to choose from and local shops to browse.

Walking through the front entrance you are immediately greeted with high ceilings, polished timber floors and a staircase to the upper level. The ground floor hosts three bedrooms with the laundry and main bathroom nestled in between. There is also a large study off the main entrance that overlooks the family room. The bedrooms downstairs altogether host a queen bed and two king singles with king single trundles. The main bathroom comprises a bath, shower and a double vanity. The toilet is separate in its own powder room.

The sizable family home has no shortage of entertainment space, with something for everyone to do including multiple living zones with smart TVs, yard for the kids to play including a basketball hoop in the large boat storage garage and not to mention the commercial pizza oven to test your MasterChef skills. The downstairs family room connects to the secure rear yard which hosts the outdoor kitchen and pizza oven. External stairs join the upper-level deck and the downstairs alfresco area seamlessly. The upper-level deck spans the length of the home and hosts a large BBQ and additional outdoor dining spaces which flow into the upstairs indoor entertainment areas and well-equipped kitchen.
The upstairs open living and dining space includes two dining areas for six with a plush 6-seater leather sofa, TV and free WIFI is available. You’ll be kept comfortable by a gas log fire and split system heating and cooling. The large Kitchen is well-equipped with appliances and an island bench providing a fantastic prep space and a breakfast bar for calm mornings and chats whilst keeping the family cook company. Along with the main living and dining spaces, the first floor also hosts the 4th bedroom with bunks and the main bedroom with a king bed and ensuite.

Parking will not be an issue with 5 cars able to be parked off-street with the large double garage accessible along with room in drive and additional space to store a boat or caravan safely in the oversized third garage.

Guest Access
Keys will be placed in a secure key safe located at the property before your arrival. 48 hours prior to your check-in details will be sent out with specific details on the location of the key safe and code. You will not need to come to our office to collect.

The Neighbourhood
Situated in St Annes Drive, in the popular beachside town of Torquay. This home couldn’t be more perfectly located. Torquay is best known as the Gateway to The Great Ocean Road and as the birthplace of iconic surfing brands such as Rip Curl and Quicksilver.

Getting Around
A car is recommended to best explore the Surf Coast. If you’re not bringing your own vehicle there is public transport via the local bus network accessible at the end of the street, about a 5 min walk from the property and Ubers and Taxis can be booked however not always available.

comments Great house! Great house, especially if you’ve got kiddies in tow. Well set up with high chair, portacot, playpen etc and everything spotlessly clean. Half a block to the beach and public playground right next door.

comments Fabulous main bedroom Debbie and her team were responsive and super helpful. The home was well appointed with some lovely features. A couple of items were damaged and repairs were being arranged. Great spot, close to the beach with easy access. Fabulous main bedroom and living areas were large and comfortable. Kitchen was excellent with all that you need and few extras thrown in as well. Very clean and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
